Annual General Meeting
Our 2024 annual general meeting was held on November 10th, 2024. Thank you for everyone that attended (including those that suffered through our Zoom version). The meeting resulted in a board of directors and a list of upcoming SRRA events in 2025.
The latest version of the board consists of Carl Potts, Dave Neuberger (Treasurer) Peter Goode, Lorrie Dobni, Lyndon Smith, Erin Eccelston, Kaden Nilson, and Greg Fenty. Many thanks and appreciation to Shona Iverson, who is stepping down from the board after serving as our President and Past President over the last few years.
For 2025 we have the following events planned:
Saskatchewan Marathon May 25
Whiteswan Mile July 6
Ekiden Relay August 17
Blackstrap Trail Race October 5

The SRRA supports the community
The SRRA has a long history of supporting the community in Saskatoon. Our dedicated treasurer Dave Neuberger crunched the numbers and his results were jaw-dropping. Since 2010 the SRRA has donated over $586,000 to the community. (This amount does not include the $95,000 Saskatchewan Marathon participant donations to the Meewasin Valley Authority).
Over the years we have made donations to Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan ($50,000) as well as smaller donations to New Hope Dog Rescue, RUH Foundation, Autism Services, Saskatoon Zoo Society, Saskatoon Food Bank, Canadian Breast Cancer Society, and the Alzheimer Society.
On November 21, 2024 the SRRA presented the Meewasin Valley Authority (MVA) with a cheque for $85,000 resulting from the proceeds of the 2024 Saskatchewan Marathon. This brings the total of all the SRRA donations to the MVA to an amazing $521,000
